We’re Emma and Zee – two sister-in-laws based in Hampshire who started out together back in 2021 with an events company. It was a huge success and gave us the confidence to follow our next idea.

On a trip to India sourcing stock, we stumbled across the fabrics of Jaipur and completely fell in love. The colours, the prints, the craftsmanship – we knew we had to do something with them. We crammed our suitcases full of samples, landed back at Gatwick, and Pink City was born.

We’re both impulsive by nature and never shy away from a crazy idea. Our houses are full of kids and animals, the juggle is constant, and we definitely don’t switch off – but that’s who we are. We’re always thinking of new ways to grow, and we’re truly passionate about what we’re building with Pink City.

By January 2025, Pink City had really taken off. We’ve taken our bags to countless events, fairs, festivals, and private shows while growing a loyal community along the way. Every single fabric is handpicked by us and turned into something special by our team in Jaipur. We speak to them daily, going back and forth on WhatsApp until the design feels just right.

Some fabrics are screen-printed, others are hand block-printed, but all are chosen with care. For us, Pink City is more than just bags – it’s about supporting traditional craft, creating pieces people love, and chasing our big dreams one print at a time.
