Each bag is hand block printed in Jaipur using traditional wooden block and azo-free dyes. Because its printed by hand, no two pieces are ever exactly the same - that's the beauty of it.
To keep your bag looking its best:
- Hand wash gently in cold water
- Use a mild, chemical-free detergent
- Do not machine wash, tumble dry or soak
- Avoid direct heat and harsh sunlight
- Line dry in the shade
- Iron on the reverse on a low setting
Natural dyes may soften slightly over time - this is part of the character of true hand block print, not a flaw.

Every Pink City piece begins in Jaipur — not in a factory.
What started as two sister-in-laws falling in love with block print has become a brand built on colour, craftsmanship and connection. Each of our bags, quilts and accessories is handmade in small batches by skilled artisans we work closely with in Jaipur.
From carving the wooden blocks, to hand-mixing the dyes, to pressing each layer of print one stamp at a time — the process is slow, intricate and entirely human.
It takes weeks.
Every design is hand-block printed using centuries-old techniques. Wooden blocks are dipped in dye and carefully pressed onto fabric, layer by layer. Because of this, you may notice tiny variations, small ink splashes or slight misalignments in the print.
We don’t see imperfections.
We see fingerprints of the maker.
No two pieces are ever identical — and that’s exactly the point.
To reduce waste, we thoughtfully use surplus fabrics for linings and trims, meaning colours and details may vary slightly from batch to batch. It’s part of what makes each Pink City piece truly one-of-a-kind.
We produce in small quantities, not mass production. Slow fashion over fast. Craft over conveyor belts.
Every order supports skilled families in Jaipur and helps keep traditional block printing alive for the next generation.
And because we care about the footprint we leave behind, we work in small runs to minimise waste and continually look at ways to reduce environmental impact across production and shipping.
